CLASSES

Living life today can be so busy and full-on, it’s almost as if every hour and every minute of the day is accounted for and scheduled. If this sounds familiar, plan a little time out for YOU to reconnect with YOU.

I teach yoga classes in Buckinghamshire every day of the week except Saturdays. Classes are offered at varied times, so you should find something to fit your schedule. Venues and details are below.

Yoga at Riversdale Lodge

Address: Riversdale Lodge, Wooburn Green, Bourne End, Buckinghamshire, SL8 5EB.

Who is it for? This class is suitable for all levels except complete beginners.

Slow Flow
Wednesday Evenings 6:30pm – 7:45pm

These classes are flowing and playful and are designed to improve overall mobility and sustain a range of movement throughout life.

Our class venue is a magical oasis, resting on the banks of the Thames. Classes may take place in the outdoor practice area by the river in summer months, weather permitting. We move to the beautiful, spacious indoor studio for the chillier months.

Yoga at Bisham Abbey

Address: Bisham Village, Marlow Rd, Bisham, Marlow, SL7 1RR.

Who is it for? These are run as ‘open level’ classes so anyone can come along, even complete beginners. They are designed in such a way that there will always be something to challenge you, no matter how experienced you are. And besides, we always practice yoga with ‘a beginners mind’.

£8.90 per 1 hour class (or included for Bisham Abbey Members). Please contact Bisham Abbey to book.

Mondays & Fridays 12:00 – 13:00

These classes are a little oasis in your day – a total break away from whatever you were doing to come back to what it means to be in your body and to breathe and move. My signature style is somatic and often playful, sometimes using props. Suitable for everyone.

Tuesdays 10:00 – 11:00

This class often has a particular focus, such as understanding one pose more thoroughly, or paying special attention parts of the body, e.g. hips, lower back, feet, shoulders etc.

Sundays 10:00 – 11:30

The 90 minute class allows for more time to explore things thoroughly which includes meditation and breathwork, as well as having a proper savasana!

YOGA FOR BEGINNERS

Thought about trying yoga, but didn’t know how or where to start?

Did you ever go to a yoga class where everyone seemed to know what they were doing except you?  I was there once too!  So join me in a ‘workshop style’ yoga adventure and I promise it will be fun.

Together we will explore the following:

  • What is Yoga?
  • Step by step guide to understanding how YOUR body moves
    Realising why the breath is so important and how to breathe with more vitality
  • How and why meditation is an integral and essential aspect of a yoga practice
  • Introduction to the ethics and philosophy of yoga

PRIVATE YOGA TUITION

 

These can be organised on request and can be useful if you have a particular need. Some people like to do this if they are recovering from a particular injury or need rehabilitation.
